African Anglicans to discuss gay bishops, funding from Western churches

African Anglican bishops are meeting in Kenya this week to take a common stand on whether or not to continue taking donations from Western churches which support the ordination of gay bishops, an official said yesterday.
Nigerian cleric Peter Akinola, who heads the Council of Anglican Provinces of Africa (CAPA), has condemned the ordination of homosexuals as "a satanic attack on God’s church".
The two-day meeting starts today in Nairobi.
