Homosexual and Transgender Behavior is Worse Than You Think

Promoters of homosexual relationships and transgenderism are some of the most judgmental people around. If you don't agree with them, they call you homophobic and transphobic bigots and then vote for political policies designed to coerce and indoctrinate those with whom they disagree. They are not against being judgmental; they are just against judgments by God of the behaviors that they promote, says theologian and sexual ethicist, The Rev. Dr. Robert A. Gagnon.

The Episcopal Church has fully embraced the LGBTQ lifestyle and mantra, and, with money wants to push these behaviors onto the Global South in the hope of winning over African Anglican leaders into a new world sexual order that not only violates their own history and consciences about sex, but Scripture as well.

"God himself judges such behaviors to be severely wrong, according to the consistent witness of Scripture. Jesus viewed a male-female prerequisite for sexual ethics as foundational for other standards, like the limitation of two persons to a sexual union (based on God's intentional design of binary sexuality). Jesus intensified God's demand for sexual purity, reaching into adultery of the heart and rejecting divorce and remarriage after divorce. In the midst of doing that in Matt. 5 Jesus warns that if one's hand, eye, or foot should threaten one's downfall, cut it off, because it is better to go into heaven maimed than to enter hell full-bodied," writes Gagnon at his Facebook page.

Today's pansexualists think that they know better than Jesus and Jesus' Heavenly Father.

"If one applied their standard consistently, they would have to refuse judgment of adult-consensual "loving" relationships between close kin (incest) and between three or more persons concurrently, not to mention bestiality and pedophilia. Isn't any statement that leads to such ridiculous results patently absurd? Judgement of evil is a good thing, not a bad thing. Every parent who has an ounce of sense knows this when it comes to directing their children on a path that leads to life rather than a path that leads to death," writes Gagnon.

"Homosexual relationships dishonor one's God-given sex by treating it as only half-intact in relation to one's own sex (two half-males unite to form a single whole male, on the analogy that man and woman each comprise one half of the sexual spectrum)."

They also experience disproportionately high rates of measurable harm based on the absence of a true sexual complement to moderate the extremes of a given sex. They are either narcissistic or delusional because they are premised on an erotic attraction for what one already shares in common with someone of the same sex. So, no, approving of such relationships is not a manifestation of love, but rather a manifestation of hate and a rejection of God's sovereign will for his creation, writes Gagnon.

Multiple transmittable sexual diseases related to anal sex have been tabulated by the Center for Disease Control. It is arguably one of the most dangerous behaviors to engage in. My brother-in-law died of AIDS, as did one of my best friends, a Baptist minister in the '80s.

"True love doesn't leave you in your sins. It lifts you out of it and propels you away from it. If God's wrath is manifested in stepping back and allowing people to engage in self-degrading desires that threaten to efface rather than enhance their image-bearing, thereby heaping up sins to a point where it leads to their cataclysmic destruction, then God's love is manifested in God delivering us from sin's power. Any other gospel is a half gospel at best and thus no good news at all," says Gagnon.

It is profoundly ironic that Episcopal Presiding Bishop Michael Curry, dubbed the "love bishop", took up the leadership mantle with a pseudo evangelical call to "love" without seeing the falsity in pushing homosexual "love" in total contradiction to Scripture.

"We are committed to the principle of full and equal access to, and inclusion in, the sacraments for all of the baptized children of God, including our LGBTQ siblings. For as St. Paul reminds us in Galatians 3, "in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus," said Curry. Never mind that this verse nowhere cites sodomy as a legitimate behavior that "clothes us with Christ."

Curry publicly declared his support for resolution B012 -- which mandated dioceses provide access to same-sex trial rites over the objections of a diocesan bishop who does not agree with same-sex marriage at the last General Convention -- and when he got pushback from the godly Evangelical Catholic bishop of Albany, the Rt. Rev. William Love, he promptly "partially restricted" the godly bishop from performing his duties as a bishop, because he had canonically offended the Church by refusing to allow homosexual marriages in his diocese.

Under Canon IV.4(1)(c), Bishop Love now faces a trial where he will inevitably be inhibited, deposed and thrown out of the Episcopal Church. His ecclesiastical fate is sealed forever.

Love cited his obligation as a bishop "called to guard the faith, unity, and discipline of the Church" and characterized the dispute as part of his dioceses' "faithfulness in upholding God's Word."

In a letter he wrote to his people, Love insisted that B012 will cause "tremendous damage ...not only in the Diocese of Albany, but throughout The Episcopal Church and wider Anglican Communion." The resolution conflicts with diocesan marriage canons in Albany, and Love notes that implementation of B012 also is at odds with the 1998 Lambeth Resolution 1.10, the Windsor Report of 2004, and the various requests of the Primates of the Anglican Communion.

Marriage has been a central issue in the Episcopal Church, which officially redefined marriage as between any two persons in 2015.

Recent statistics show that The Episcopal Church is spiraling downward. "I can't help but believe that God has removed His blessing from this Church. Unless something changes, The Episcopal Church is going to die," said Love.
