No longer. It is now an aging, shriveling, sexually obsessed church that is foisting a variety of sexual behaviors (LGBTQI) that no church in history has ever done or would have deemed remotely acceptable, (or even discussed) on its diminishing 700,000 parishioners in 100 dioceses. The 10,000 or so Episcopalians who show up at GC2012 in Indianapolis next month have no idea the damage they will do if Rites for the blessing of same sex marriage passes (which it is guaranteed will).

In Ridgecrest, NC this week, the Archbishop of the Anglican Church in North American (ACNA), Robert Duncan drew in some eight ecumenical visitors from various denominations who brought greetings to this orthodox Anglican body.

They all stated, in one form or another, that they stood with Duncan and the ACNA at a time of growing secularism and theological division in many of the major Protestant denominations including The Episcopal Church.

Cox savored the moment to "share the pain, passion, and privilege of helping to make a difference for those on the front lines of faith and freedom" with the Assembly. Whether she is crossing into Burma from Thailand to document the shoot-to-kill and scorched earth policy of the military junta, or landing on forbidden airstrips in Sudan, danger is never far away from Cox or the people for whom she is fighting.

Here at the ACNA conference the second option was fulfilled. "We have transferred from one room to the next room in the same house," said Rwaje to raucous applause.

Archbishop Duncan received them with these words: "I must take good care and note that the doorways between the two rooms is a well-worn doorway."
