Anglican Bishop in Europe condemns "unjustified and aggressive" war in Ukraine
The Russian military began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Thursday 24 February, after months of threats and build up. Hundreds of Ukrainians have died and more than half a million people have fled the country. Civilians are taking up arms to join the fight against Russian forces, as fears rise that conflict could destabilise the balance of power in Europe.

Anglicans hold their breath as talks continue between Russia and Ukraine
"Most people here still think it's absolutely impossible that Russia would go to war with Ukraine, asking how brothers and sisters could fight each other. Public opinion is clearly against it; so there's been real tension."
Canon Rogers spoke as the Russian Defence Ministry announced an end to "tactical exercises" in some Ukrainian border areas on Tuesday, and a partial withdrawal of forces to their "permanent deployment points".

Anglican Primate Condemns Killings, Bloodshed In Nigeria
He said that even last week some members of the Anglican Church were killed in the North yet those behind this dastardly act of killings are moving freely without being exposed.
He said: "what stopped those that know the perpetrators of crimes from exposing them".
The Primate said that given the current situation in the country, Nigeria needs persistent prayers to be able to forestall peace in the land.

Anglican minister and family face imminent deportation back to Iran
Pastor Salimi, who converted to Christianity in his home city of Shiraz in the year of the Islamic revolution of 1979, is the former minister of St Paul's Anglican Church in Isfahan, one of just four remaining Persian-language churches in Iran, but now used only for special occasions such as weddings or Christmas.

This is another important step forward in reuniting the Continuing Anglican Churches as we seek to strengthen our common witness in our Lord Jesus Christ, to His saving Gospel, and to the historic Anglican tradition within the one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
