The All African Bishops' Conference that started on August 23, 2010 at the Lakeside town of Entebbe in Uganda was officially closed after the commissioning service held at the Serena Hotel in Uganda's capital, Kampala. The Primates of the continent issued a statement in which they re-committed themselves to the avenues of keeping the Anglican Union as a union. They agreed a 6-point action plan to achieve this objective.
