June 10 2016 By dvirtue LONDON: Former UK Chief Rabbi warns of collapse of Western civilization as birth rates plummet

"It is not too much to say that the future of the West and the unique form of freedom it has pioneered for the past four centuries is altogether at risk," Sacks warned.

The decline was fueled mostly by losses among Roman Catholics and mainline Protestants. However, even in parts of the Bible Belt, conservative Christians who hadn't been very active in church are now feeling more comfortable saying they're no longer religious. The membership ranks of some evangelical denominations, such as the Southern Baptist Convention, are shrinking.

This theory seems to have fizzled in most schools, possibly because it's idiotic. Words have conventional spellings for a reason: their purpose is to communicate. If we encourage kids to form bad habits, it will be that much harder for them to become capable writers later. This theory's heyday was evidently brief, but still, it left its mark. A canvass of the area would have told them that the church had already sent a message to those neighbors when it had stood silent in the face of atrocity. As he makes his case, he argues that liberal judges are now in the majority and that the Supreme Court, given the death of Justice Antonin Scalia, is unlikely to reverse any liberal decisions handed down by lower courts. Federal judges, Tushnet argues, "no longer have to be worried about reversal by the Supreme Court if they take aggressively liberal positions."

May 07 2016 By dvirtue IF MY PEOPLE and JUDGEMENT

Is it too late for America to return to righteousness? Absolutely not, man's importunity is always God's greatest opportunity. But we who trust in our Lord Jesus Christ have to realize that judgement and repentance always begins in the house of God. Like our nation, WE the Church are a house divided. WE are a back sliding people who have divided the Church into thousands of pieces, while Jesus prays for our unity and the world laughs at our disunity.
