TALLAHASSEE, FL (5/31/2005)--The Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches (CEEC) an international organization with Churches established in Canada, the United States, Australia and India welcomed the Living Word Church into the Communion on Sunday May 1, 2005.

Archbishop McClanahan made a personal commitment to the members of Living Word Church to be their servant-leader and a made an equal commitment to the Rev. Ackerson to be not only his pastor but his friend.

Said Ackerson, "We are happy to once again be a part of an international communion of believers which allows us to more effectively support the spread of the Gospel around the world. We are also happy to have the CEEC to hold us accountable to Scriptural truths and our God-given vision and mission."

"This relationship now offers to those seeking to worship Christ in a liturgical setting a place of orthodoxy committed to relationships and biblical teaching. The vision of Living Word Church is to become Lovers of God, Lovers of each other and Lovers of those who are yet to come into the Kingdom," said McClanahan.
