Cuban President Fidel Castro met Tuesday evening with the Reverend Frank Tracy
Havana, March 1 (CNA) Cuban President Fidel Castro met Tuesday evening with the Reverend Frank Tracy Griswold III, the 25th Presiding Bishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America and his delegation.
The delegation arrived in Havana on Friday, invited by the Episcopal Church of Cuba, Granma newspaper reports on Wednesday.
The meeting between the Cuban president and the US religious leader took place in the cordial and respectful manner which has always characterized the relations between the Cuban government, Cuban religious organizations, and their counterparts abroad.
