We have now dipped below 300,000 in average weekly attendance, and if things continue as they are, we will not have much of a church by 2040. (In 2019 the ASA was just over 547,107, today it is under 300,000.)

Covid was a huge negative, but things were going south before Covid and Covid just pushed us over the edge. We have simply not recovered from Covid in any meaningful sense.

"I feel very well-loved here. As the first trans person, sometimes there is a burden of representation. Sometimes there are questions about terminology, pronouns. But I find that the curiosity is always respectful, and it's always addressed at trying to love and know me better and love and know the LGBTQ+ community better."

The Episcopal Church openly celebrates LGBTQ+ events with TEC encouraging parents and their children to celebrate and participate. The rainbow of fashions ranging from bondage to the banal, from near nudity to fashionable haute couture leaves little to the imagination. Children wave "gay" flags from the pavements. The children are cheered along by parents who smile approvingly, unaware of the lifetime damage such indoctrination does to young, sensitive hearts and minds.

"Homosexuality was already criminalized; it simply reaffirms what was already in the colonial-era penal code, including a maximum sentence of the death penalty for aggravated homosexuality (which the Church of Uganda opposed).

"What is new is specifically outlawing the promotion of homosexuality and same-sex relationships as a moral alternative to God's natural design for marriage between one man and one woman."
