The retiring African Anglican Primate is the second archbishop to call for new structures in the Anglican Communion, believing that the American Episcopal Church and the Anglican Church in Canada are heretical because they have stepped over the line in faith and morals and should no longer be considered part of, or having a voice in the affairs of the Anglican Communion.

"We need a new structure to face the challenges together. We do not want to create another communion. They (the North American provinces) have departed the faith. They have left us we have not left the faith of the communion. They have made the Anglican Communion dysfunctional. We need to move forward now and not just be reactive."

Naturally we seek to minimize the damage, to heal the hurts, to strengthen our mission, to make sure that it goes forward with integrity and conviction."

Dr. Williams said decisions have to be taken. "At the same time we must all share in a sense of repentance and willingness to be renewed by the Spirit."

Delegates are expected to discuss the impact the consecration of a non-celibate lesbian in The Episcopal Church to the episcopacy will have on the Anglican Communion. The incremental innovations of TEC and the Anglican Church of Canada have been the subject of discussion for over a decade, but many believe this might be the end of the road for provinces that do not conform to Scripture on matters of human sexual behavior.

The second recent event is a statement issued by the Archbishop of Uganda, Henry Luke Orombi, who blasted both the American Episcopal Church and the Anglican Church in Canada for its unrighteous behavior. Specifically, he asked the Archbishop of Canterbury not to invite the Primates of The Episcopal Church and the Anglican Church of Canada to the next meeting of the Primates.

Baroness Cox is a voice for the persecuted and marginalized of the world, especially in the war torn country of the Sudan that she has visited numerous times. Two million Sudanese, mostly Christians, have been slaughtered by Islamists over oil rights in the southern part of the country which is predominantly Christian. Many believe another war is imminent.

Cox also sees a major threat on what she called "the home front". She outlined four areas of threat.

Under the banner, New Wineskins for Global Mission 2010, the archbishop said news media stories only tell the ugly side of Nigerian violence, but it is not the whole story. "We are reaching out with the gospel to Muslims and those who practice African religions and creating missionary dioceses in the northern part of the country dominated by Islam. Islam came into Nigeria in the 11th century and today they have a political stronghold. We have started missionary dioceses.
