August 09 2024 By dvirtue WHY THE WORLD STILL HATES JEWS

Blood libel (the absurd slander that Jews kill non-Jewish babies to make matsoh, which is believed by many Palestinians) stills hangs over the Jews, a misplaced theological concept effectively used by the Nazis during World War II, but the reasons may lie even deeper. Israel is a modern democracy with a per capita gross domestic product of some $40,000 per year, on par with Britain or France.

August 06 2024 By dvirtue WHY THEY LEFT THE CHURCH: IT'S THE FAILURE OF "SOUND DOCTRINE" FROM THE PULPIT

The question is why. Many demographers blame our busy lifestyles. The need to work on Sunday, shopping, kids need entertaining, not enough time to get up and get ready for church. We can now do church in front of an iPad or laptop in our pajamas, so why bother getting dressed to go to church. Our lives are hectic and we need Sunday morning to sleep in. "I moved; attendance was inconvenient; or, say, family change," Michael Graham, co-author of "The Great Dechurching" says.

August 05 2024 By dvirtue Archbishop of Canterbury says Occupation of Palestinian Territories by Israel is Unlawful and they must Exit, but is he Right?

"Through annexing Palestinian land for illegal settlements, depriving Palestinians access to their own natural resources, and imposing a system of military rule that denies them safety and justice, the State of Israel has been denying the Palestinian people dignity, freedom and hope. I am particularly aware of how this is impacting Palestinian Christians, threatening their future and viability. It is clear that ending the occupation is a legal and moral necessity."

July 31 2024 By dvirtue Episcopal Presiding Bishop lashes out against Israel. Calls for ceasefire

The truth is a ceasefire would only benefit Hamas, as it would allow them to regroup and continue their rocket attacks on Israel. Holding hostages is a card Hamas is playing knowing that delay only foments more hatred of Israel. Extract as many concessions as you can from Israel before releasing a handful of hostages and then go back to the bargaining table for more. It is a tactic that is clearly working.

July 29 2024 By dvirtue Nigerian Anglican Primate says Persecution is not about Climate Change

Q. What is the Government doing about the genocide of Christians?

A. There is, first of all the need for Christians to unite. The Christian Association of Nigeria can bring Christians together. Our attackers do not know the difference between denominations. All of us suffer the same thing for the same reason. What matters is the bond of peace we have in Christ. In Christ there is neither East nor West etc. The Ecumenical Movement is helping us. Differences have died.

July 19 2024 By dvirtue Church of England Goes through Sexual Contortions to Permit the Impermissible

The first question is, why is the Church of England following in the footsteps of the Anglican Church of Canada and The Episcopal Church both of whom experienced schism over the issue. This has not been a win for either church. Ignoring reality won't make it go away. Or is there a colonial arrogance that says, 'we are the CofE ol' chap, the Mother Church, and we dictate the terms of Anglicanism...and sexual boundaries.'

We recognize the orders and jurisdiction of those Anglicans who uphold orthodox faith and practice, and we encourage them to join us in this mission."

Beach set out six areas of concern in the letter.
