June 28 2017 By dvirtue WHEATON, IL: Diocese of South Carolina Joins The ACNA

Bishop Mark Lawrence acknowledged his diocese's pilgrimage out of TEC and rejoiced that his diocese was now officially aligned with the ACNA. Delegates voted unanimously to receive the diocese. After leaving TEC in October 2012 the diocese was accepted into the Global South in August 2014 until a formal decision was made in 2016 to join the Anglican Church in North America. That action required two formal votes.

June 26 2017 By dvirtue Is the Archbishop of Canterbury losing control of the Anglican Communion?

The steady drip, drip, drip of news reveals an archbishop increasingly being marginalized, slowly losing touch with his evangelical base, while he continues to cozy up to liberals and revisionists, Muslims and homosexuals.

Consider the following:

June 19 2017 By dvirtue LIMA, Peru: New Anglican Bishop Affirms the Mercy of God

"We are in Peru, which is strongly Roman Catholic and many say we look like the Roman Catholic Church and others say we are not. We have the best of both worlds. As an Anglican Church, we profess the mercy of God. In our human experience here, we have not experienced a very merciful Church (or God) and maybe this has confused people. Mercy is so big that anything can be forgiven. If there is something that the Anglican Church excels in, it is mercy. I love that about Anglicanism."

Welby wrote to the GAFCON Archbishops saying he did not consider the appointment of a "Missionary Bishop" in the person of Andy Lines to be necessary and berated the Primates for "cross-border intervention", arguing that it was not a Church of England appointment and therefore carried no weight in the Church of England.

"I will no longer be able to accept invitations to Christian meetings where bishops of the SEC are actively participating, unless their broken communion is recognized in the arrangements. I pray that this declining church will understand that their position is not blessed by God, will repent of their action and turn back to Him."

June 07 2017 By dvirtue Thomas Cranmer and the Lord's Supper

Cranmer was primarily responsible for giving us The Book of Common Prayer, and the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion, the doctrinal and liturgical basis of Anglicanism. They remain today the gold standard of Anglican doctrine, according to the laws and canons of the Church of England. They are used and cherished by millions in worldwide Anglicanism.

In England, our reformers were also martyrs. They were burned at the stake for what they believed and taught.

June 06 2017 By dvirtue CANADA: Diocese of Caledonia Capitulates to Revisionist Canadian Bishops over Worley Election

Worley did a brief stint as a priest in the Anglican Mission in America (AMiA) a fatal theological and ecclesiastical "sin" apparently, which just might have led him into becoming a "righteous" liberal/revisionist bishop capable of emptying his own diocese by promoting homosexual marriage.
