The motion passed by the Anglican Church in ANZP explicitly states that there should be no change to "the Church's teaching on the nature of marriage [which] is to affirm marriage as between a man and a woman"; but it went on to say that that individual bishops should be free to use provisions already within the province's canons for "a non-formulary service" to allow for the blessing of same-sex relationships.

November 13 2018 By dvirtue GEORGIA: Bishop Benhase to bow out. Cites health concerns

A rare honest moment for a bishop who once said this; "The unmerited grace of the Gospel of Jesus is the only medicine that can cure this socio-economic disease. He said if he granted the terms Cook requested -- that two of her four sentences be changed from consecutive to concurrent status -- it would amount to ruling that she spend no time behind bars on one of those counts: the crime of leaving the scene of a collision.

If approved, would have cut two years off Cook's time served, leaving her eligible for almost immediate release.
