After being consecrated bishop of the Diocese of Matana, and later serving as leader of the Anglican Church of Burundi for over a decade, Ntahoturi has played a key role in local and regional peace building efforts. He's also well-known on the international scene for his ecumenical work, serving on the central committee of the World Council of Churches.

Anglo-Catholic writer and journalist, Auburn Faber Traycik, has died at the age of 64 in Richmond, Virginia.

She had been suffering for several years with Parkinson's Disease and had moved from Washington, DC, where she has lived near the Hill to Richmond, VA, three months ago. Her apartment overlooked St. Alban's, where she became a member of St. Alban's Anglican Catholic Parish in Richmond, Virginia.

This was most noticeable at the first GAFCON conference that met in Jerusalem in June 2008, which produced the Jerusalem Statement. To make sure Dawani did not meet with any GAFCON primate, Colorado Episcopal Bishop Rob O'Neill was sent by the Presiding Bishop to keep the Bishop of Jerusalem out of the conference and to keep his feet to the fire of TEC's largess. He was successful.

Officials in the Suffolk District Attorney's Office said last year that the charges against White grew out of a Rhode Island State Police investigation into allegations of sexual assault and sexual misconduct by former faculty and students at the elite prep school in Middletown, R.I., going back to 1970. He was arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court last December.
