Ordinariate-bound priests engage in Saturday Seminary online training
This is a transformation unlike any other. The online Catholic seminarians are all previously ordained Episcopal or Anglican or Continuing Anglican clerics who have decided to follow their Anglo-Catholic conscience into the Roman Catholic Church and ultimately seek the living out of their own priesthood as fully-fledged Catholic priests.

PHILADELPHIA: St. Michael's the Archangel Anglican Parish Joins Catholic Church
The OrdinariateoftheChairofSaintPeter is similar to a regular Catholic diocese, but national in scope. Pope Benedict XVI established the ordinariate on January 1 following requests by Anglicans worldwide seeking to become Catholic, and appointed Msgr. Steenson, a former Episcopal bishop, as the leader. Ordinariate parishes will be fully Catholic while retaining elements of their Anglican heritage and traditions, including liturgical traditions.

The group of about 94 pilgrims, including a dozen priests, was led by Msgr. Keith Newton, head of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, which was established in January 2011 for former Anglicans in England and Wales.

Ordinariate: Another Anglican bishop answers Pope Benedict's call to unity
Robert Mercer was born in Zimbabwe and has been a member of the Community of the Resurrection, Mirfield, for 49 years. From 1977-89 he was the Anglican bishop of Matabeleland and from 1989-2005 he served as a bishop of the Traditional Anglican Catholic Church of Canada. He retired in 2005 and became the Episcopal Visitor to the Traditional Anglican Communion in the UK.
