The less-populated northern dioceses of Eau Claire and Fond du Lac nearly merged in 2011, but that plan ultimately was defeated in a close vote by the Fond du Lac diocesan convention. Now 10 years later, leaders from all three Wisconsin dioceses told ENS they are open to greater collaboration.

Christ Church Cathedral in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, is one of only two congregations in the Diocese of Eau Claire that averages more than 80 worshippers on Sundays.

In March 2007, Herzog and his wife Carol joined the Roman Catholic Church. In an act of generosity, Bishop Love stated that Herzog and his wife would continue to be welcome at diocesan events.

In April 2010, presiding bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori restored Herzog to the ministry of the Episcopal Church. His return to ECUSA was page one news at the time.

First, all religious beliefs do not change over time. That is pure fiction.

Secondly, God has not changed his mind about how we should behave sexually. Scripture cannot be written and then rewritten or redacted to make it mean something else.

Butt (if you'll pardon the pun), you may feel the pain of those who believe they should be allowed to sodomize whomever. If thou dost protest, thou shalt be called homophobic...at a very minimum and cast into outer Anglican darkness. (The ACNA is not recognized by the Archbishop of Canterbury).
