Church of South India Bishop to face criminal action
The R. Rajendrababu-headed panel recommended that the government adopt steps against the college to ensure that the money collected from the candidates was refunded. The committee issued the orders after considering the complaints of 24 aspirants, mostly those from Tamil Nadu. They pointed out that the college office-bearers had virtually admitted to have collected money from the parents of the aspirants, but failed to fulfil the promise of admission.

South Carolina Circuit Court Rules in Favor of Diocese of South Carolina on Betterments Statute
The Betterments Statute provides that a party who makes good faith improvements to property they believe they own, may be compensated for the value of those improvements, if a court makes a final determination that another party is the true owner. Many of the parishes in the Diocese of South Carolina can trace their unbroken history back to the colonial era of the state. During that entire time, there has never been any question of their unencumbered title to property or legal identity.

UGANDA: The Rt. Rev. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Elected 9th Archbishop of the Church of Uganda
Bishop Kaziimba was consecrated Bishop on 26th October 2008 and has served as the Bishop of Mityana Diocese for almost eleven years.
He was born on 15th August 1962 in Buikwe Najja to Besweri Kaddu and Jessica Nanyonjo. He was born again as a Christian in 1984.

Nigerian Gunmen Kidnap Wife of Anglican Bishop
The victim, Mrs. Anuri Maduwuike, was accosted at gunpoint Thursday while returning home from Owerri, Imo State, according to an unnamed eyewitness, and kidnappers took her to an unknown destination.
The "wife of the Anglican bishop of Ikeduru Diocese Mrs. Anuri Maduwuike, was kidnapped on Thursday by unknown gunmen," said a second source, Emperror Iwuala.
"We need prayers for God's intervention for the safety and freedom of the Lord's handmaid," he said.

DR CONGO: ADF Rebels Attack Boga
More than 200 youth, children, and women were abducted, shops were looted, cows stolen, and the Anglican Mission Hospital was looted. A doctor and lab technician from the hospital are among those abducted. The raid lasted about three hours.
Government troops based in Boga were seriously outnumbered by the rebels. There are conflicting reports about the role of the army in resisting the attack. No casualties have been reported.

According to a communique from the Provincial Office of the Church of Uganda, Namirembe, the new Archbishop who will be the 9th Archbishop of Church of Uganda since 1961 will be elected by the House of Bishops which consists of all active Diocesan and Assistant Bishops.

ST. LOUIS,MISSOURI: Independent St. Stanislaus Catholic parish declines to join Episcopal Church
The Carr Square neighborhood church has been independent since its split from the Roman Catholic Church in 2005.
Earlier this month, nearly 60% of the 300 St. Stanislaus parishioners voted to authorize the church's board of directors to explore a relationship with the Episcopal Diocese. The property rights provision tripped up the discussions, according to church leaders.

Conservative Jews seek to revoke National Cathedral's tax exempt status
In issuing this statement, the Cathedral has crossed the line that bars tax-exempt entities from engaging in partisan political activity. In response, Jews Choose Trump has filed a complaint with the Internal Revenue Service. We requested that the IRS investigate the Cathedral's outrageous action, and either withdraw the Cathedral's tax-protected status or impose some other appropriate remedy.
