A Lambeth Palace spokesman confirmed that Archbishop Justin did have a brief meeting with Archbishop Eliud Wabukala and the Deputy President during a brief visit to the region last week, but the Kenyan Archbishop was not invited to join Welby in meeting with the Deputy President.

The Task Force said the Church had not demonstrated a capacity at the Church-wide level to focus keenly on priorities and to align them with the human, financial, and structural resources to address them.

The Task Force recommended three voting orders in the General Convention: Lay, Clerical, and Bishops. For many resolutions, the three Orders would vote together. All three orders would elect the Presiding Bishop.

December 15 2014 By dvirtue Episcopal Presiding Bishop Calls for Ban on Telling the Truth about TECs Decline

"Furthermore, the annual publication of figures logging the Church's decline just humiliates the Church and all the 65 plus aged parishioners who still fill the pews and who will be dead in a decade or so and with it the Church and diocese. We need to take a leaf out of the Anglican Church of Canada, which hasn't disclosed figures in years about their average Sunday attendance.

December 09 2014 By dvirtue Welby's Wobble: "I'm absolutely not saying 'Unity at all costs' -- quite the reverse"

VOL: This is not about hatred unless Welby is prepared to admit that the hatred, animosity and name calling is coming from liberals and revisionists against the orthodox. The lawsuits for properties is an example of ecclesiastical hatred couched in the language of episcobabbble about saving the churches for God's mission in the world -- whatever the blazes that means.
