The priest reportedly befriended and requested them to visit him at the church for spiritual guidance but would "seduce them and force them to engage in homosexuality."

He is said to have pleaded with the young men not to inform anyone.

The letter of suspension was read during a Sunday service at the Nyeri St Peters Cathedral last week.

The prosecution, handled by Assistant Baltimore City State's Attorney Kurt Bjorklund, is asking for 20 years but will suspend half of it.

Associate Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Timothy Doory said he would sentence Cook on October 27. When the late October sentencing date rolls around, he indicated he would not sentence the former bishop to any more time than prosecutors are seeking. He does have the discretion to lessen her time behind bars.

With her guilty plea, Cook, 58, admitted to driving drunk and leaving the scene after striking Thomas Palermo, a 41-year-old father of two young children, on Dec. 27. Cook had been sending text messages while she was driving, Assistant State's Attorney Kurt Bjorklund said, and did not return to the scene until 30 minutes later at the urging of a friend.

Her blood-alcohol content registered a .22 on a breath test, nearly three times the legal limit.

The nine-man, three-woman jury took less than two days to deliver its split verdict in the quick 10-day trial. Labrie, is to be sentenced on Oct. 29, pending a pre-sentencing review by the New Hampshire Department of Corrections. He was released on a $15,000 bond while awaiting that sentencing. Superior Court Judge Larry Smukler ordered the convicted teen to comply with a nightly 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. curfew. The prosecutor asked that his passport be surrendered.

As Jews were forced to wear the yellow Star of David, Christian homes are marked with the Arabic letter "N" for Nazarene. Iraqi Sister Diana Momeka testified to the House Foreign Affairs Committee in May that "ISIS's plan is to evacuate the land of Christians and wipe the earth clean of any evidence that we ever existed."
